This was my Garage Sale Hunting day. The day Turned out ok. Some good finds, But I found out that things that I use to buy for 25 cents to $2.00 last year cost me $2.00-$5.00 now , Boy garage sale items are getting expensive.
Found some Good books, Video Tapes, and Toys for Ebay and Half Price.com total spent for Garage sale Items $14.50 My Biggest expense was taking my Partner and me out to dinner Cost $30.00. Now I know why people say Don't eat Out It's expensive. But we had enough food left over for a doggie bag.YA! So no saving day for me. I plan on working on my saving plan Hard for the month of October.
Spending Total = $44.50
Saving Total = 0

I loved to play Lotto, (past tense) I would buy scratch off cards at $1 to $5 and I would play the megas and regular lotto when the pots were high and when they were not. I decided to save all my tickets for one year and I added them up and foound that I spent $987.00 for that year in lotto games. Know what I could have done with that money. I was sick when I realized how much I wasted on a game. That game gave me little wins like $1-$40 every now and then. After getting over my sickness I QUIT PLAYING! Now I save the money that I would have spent on games and put it to better use.
MY RETIREMENT!
Saving's today $2.00
Found dollar on ground $1.00
Total saving's day $3.00
Have a great savings day!

Today I actually took advantage of something that was free. And it was something that I Love Coffee. Mcdonald's is having a free cup of coffee week.
So I had one today by doing this I saved $2.00 that would have went to Dunkin Donuts (Mummm I Love that coffee to!) I have decided that all the money I save from coupons and return bottles and such will go into my ING acct. That money is for paying off debt Only!
Amt toward debt $2.00.
It's a start!

Hello there and welcome to my blog, My name is Annette but my co workers call me Cheap Cheetah and I love that name.
My goals are simple to Visit Alaska with my mate.
To Pay off my debt which is $175,000.00. This debt is because I purchased a house last year and I have two morages on it. So I am struggling a bit.(Oh Heck A Lot) Thank god for my mate who I live with. He helps me out alot.We are working on the house so that we can rent it by 2007.
Also I would like to leave my City Job in 3-5 years (God Willing) so that I can open my own bookstore, and to have freedom to travel with my mate doing Flea Markets in other states.
I know this will be a challenge but it's one that is very worth it to me and this is my adventure.
